We are Finland’s first design studio specialised in biophilic design. Over the past twenty years, Helsinki Interiors has evolved from an interior architecture studio into an expert in spatial concepts, wellbeing-oriented environments and future-focused spatial thinking.
In addition to design work, Helsinki Interiors identifies itself as a “feel tank”, a creative think tank exploring the future of spatial experience. Our approach does not begin with what a space looks like, but with how it feels.
We work on projects where the meaning of space extends beyond aesthetics to user experience, identity and the human experience of environment.
This development work led to the creation of Nordic Biodesign: Helsinki Interiors’ approach that combines biophilic design, Nordic aesthetics and culturally aware spatial experience.
The concept can be applied to new developments, renovations, adaptive reuse projects and future-oriented spatial concepts shaped around emerging cultural and behavioural shifts.
